The Big Move...CRAZINESS!!

We finally seem to be some what settled in now that we have been here for 2 weeks! We have both been working since the day we've been here so we haven't had anytime together. That sucks! I'm hoping with my next paycheck I can set $50.00 aside to take Dill out on a date. I also want to save a couple hundred dollars so we can go to Wendover for the weekend since we never got to go to mesquite for our 3 year anniversary.

Work is going well for both of us. Dill is doing landscaping for his brother's company down in Salt Lake called Oasis Landscaping. It is a temporary job for now until he can find something else. Our brother in law (partner in Oasis) works for the state and he said there will be some job openings soon and he is going to try and get Dill in one of them. That would be ideal! So, we are really hoping for that.

My mom's bookkeeping company is going well for me. She doesn't want to work very much, so we are trying to get me to a position where I feel comfortable sitting with the clients and basically doing what she does. I'm excited! I will get a raise! AND....I asked yesterday if I got an insurance plan for my family if her company would pay half since they don't offer benefits and they said yes! WOOOHOOO! We need insurance soooooo bad! Who doesn't?!en

Caiden has adjusted really well since we have been here. It is like we are home. His sleeping schedule hasn't changed at all!!! Yeah! I was mostly worried about him and not 1 thing has changed! What a relief!

I'm going to hook up my portable scrapbook printer to my computer at work tomorrow so I can start scrap booking. I'm so excited! I will post some new pics as well. I don't have any to post right now. Sorry!

Pictures!

Yeah! I finally got Caiden's pictures back from Sears. Funny story though, I went to the mall yesterday to buy a birthday gift for my friend Raylene and an anniversary gift for Tyler and Carolyn. I stopped by Sears to pick up some enhancements that I had done and the girl at the counter told me that they weren't even getting another shipment until the 16th. I was way bummed out, but knew there was nothing I could do so I just left. I walked around and got the gifts that I originally went for and I also started to look for something for Father's day for Dill since I had no idea what I was going to do. I was unsuccessful and mad so I went out to my car and started loading up Caiden when Dill called and said that the fax rang and no paper printed out. I asked him what the caller id said and right away I knew it was Sears but played stupid and said "Well, I hope it wasn't too important. Maybe they will try again". So, I loaded Caiden back into the stroller and ran into Sears and grabbed my pictures. I was so happy I wanted to cry! They turned out so good and I can't wait to give them to Dill on Sunday. He is going to LOVE them!

I will post some pictures of Dill while and after he opens them! Maybe I will even do a video! Well, that is all I can do for now. I have a screaming baby in my ear. Ahhhh!!!!!

Today Dill and I took most of the day to re-arrange the house! I always love doing it because you feel like you are in a new home! It gives me the opportunity to play house again for a couple of weeks until I get sick of it and want to re-arrange again! Hehe! We have both computers and desks set up now! I think it looks great! Much more organized and functional and I have enough room to keep my work space separate from my play space so maybe I can finally start on Caiden's scrapbook. It is only 14 months past my original idea of beginning a scrap book for him, but it is never too late! We took out the T.V. in the living room and turned it into a sitting room with only 1 couch and the 2 queen ann chairs. We like it a lot more and it really opened up the living/dining(office) room and the space feels much larger. We took the love seat and T.V. and put them in our bedroom. We had a lot of dead space in there and now it looks great and we can watch movies in bed! It felt so good getting all of that accomplished today! Tomorrow....Caiden's room! Ahhhhhh!!!!!

I feels great when you finally set your house up the way you like and it just happened to be in time for all my family this weekend! We are having a bbq Friday night for my birthday. I am excited to see everyone!

I still haven't heard from Sears on Caiden's 2nd set of pictures and I am getting nervous because they are for Dill and all my father's for Father's Day. I really hope they call by Thursday so I can get it to my dad in time. Anyway, I gotta run for the night. I just thought I would try to actually do something with this blog. I am planning on making it better as soon as i have more time.

Well...here you go! I am going to give this a whirl and see what I can do. It might not be very good for a while until I can get a hang of the program! I am excited to see how it goes!

I can't believe how big my baby is! I am sad to think I'm not going to be able to call him a baby for very much longer! *tear* These are pictures that I had done last week at Sears. I did them for his 1 year but also as a surprise for Dill for Father's day. And for all of my father's as well! I am excited because Dill has been saying how he wants some good pictures of Caiden and I finally went and got some!!! Yeah! Here you go and enjoy!
